"Landscapes have been most of the work I have produced, both representation and abstract. However, seascapes, cityscapes, and outer space images are included in my portfolio.
I work in acrylics, pastels, and watercolor. Art has become a new outlet for my creative senses. Every painting presents a problem to be resolved – each a learning process, and then further refinements emerge. Betty Dickerson taught me drawing and opened for me the possibilities of making art.
There are natural places which are magnificent, and when one draws and paints, a new understanding of what is really there develops. The art work is to share with the viewer what I sense."
