Carole J. Branda is a long time member of Gallery XII with a B. F. A. in Painting from Wichita State University.

"My work has evolved from realistic rendering to expressionistic color compositions that allow me to be free with my brushstrokes. My work is ruled by emotion to the extent that my landscapes are more about the feeling a place has left me rather than the actual place. To me painting is about sorting everything out….all the possibilities using given materials and then finding new ones. I work in oil, acrylic and other drawing mediums."
