“The goal in my artwork is some surprise, some mystery, some humor, and sometimes a comment about life from my perspective.”

Ann Krone received a BA in Art Education from Westmar College, LeMars, Iowa, an M.A. in drawing from Ft. Hays State University and an MFA in printmaking from Wichita State University. She is currently an art professor at Friends University, Wichita Kansas.

Ann has provided instruction in art for Ft. Hays Kansas State University, Wichita State University, and Cloud County Community College. She retired from public education in 2004 where she was an art teacher and administrator for over 30 years. Ann is an active artist in the media of watercolor, graphite, collage, digital painting and drawing and mixed media.
